Thank you for visiting our web page.  We are pleased to offer you another alternative in ecological adventure in the Amazon River basin  and the city of Iquitos. Our lodge is located approximately 30 kilometers  (19  miles) up the river from Iquitos,  1 hour by motorboat right on the Amazon river. This placid setting is built with the architectural design of the area, right in the thick and lush tropical jungle. The individual bungalows are 35 square meters, each with an oscillating  fan and electricity from 5:30PM  to 10:30.PM. The accommodations are meticulously  built to protect our guests from mosquitoes and other insects and provide  a relaxing  atmosphere  in an area with hammocks where  you can read, or simply enjoy the surroundings to its fullest. 

We offer ecological and educational walks, night excursions, bird watching in their natural habitat, trips in canoes,  fishing of several Amazonian species  such as catfish, sardines, piranhas and others. We  visit a village to observe a sugar cane mill and also observe some wildlife such as  boa constrictors and slots.   We also taste some aphrodisiac  drinks with medicinal purposes while mingling with the local villagers. Furthermore,  you can observe the world’s largest aquatic plant the “VICTORIA REGIA” or Amazonian lily and   we visit the native village of the BORA tribe.  All these activities can be complemented with an overnight stay deep in the jungle camping and sleeping under tarps and mosquito  nets while learning the many mysteries of the humid and tropical jungle. 

To make  your stay a more enjoyable and unforgettable experience we provide  you an array of typical dishes  such as  juane,  cecina con tacacho ( bacon and mashed baked green bananas) paiche a la Loretana (paiche the local way) grilled Suri, patarashca (fish  or meat cooked wrapped in leafs) and others. All  trips are conducted   by local guides who know the jungle and its  mysteries.  They will share their experiences  and the many stories of the Amazonian forest  around a campfire.
